Via dei Coronari is an old medieval street that goes from the edge of Piazza Navona to Castel Sant’Angelo on a straight line. In a peaceful setting with a courtyard, just off Piazza Risorgimento steps from the Vatican Museums and San Pietro (St. Peter’s Basilica), in the midst of the well known shopping area, close to most interesting sites, this apartment is perfect for a family of 4.

Past the main gate and the doorman office, the building is on the right. First floor with elevator, has an ample foyer with built in book case and a desk. The living-dining room spacious and well appointed, is on the right. It has all wall, to the ceiling high book case with books, TV, 3 seats sofa, 2 armchairs, little table with a lamp, an expandable table with chairs: seat 6.

The fully equipped kitchen is on the left: it’s spacious and bright, has a big new refrigerator, stove with 4 burners, oven, microwave, dish washer and all you need to cook a gourmet Italian dinner.

It has also a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard.

There is a full bathroom with bathtub and wall hand shower, bidet, sink a mirror.

The lively and elegant area called Prati, is full of shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes. A fresh vegetables and fruit indoor market is few blocks away and groceries stores too including the well known Castroni.

Best served by public transportation and the Metro station, Ottaviano, is a block away.
The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, San Pietro’s basilica are just across the Piazza.

Castel Sant’Angelo is at 5 minutes walk: cross the 150mts long bridge and Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona ,the Pantheon as well as all the charming little cobbled streets with their hidden treasures will be there for you to enjoy.

The long room has a small entrance area and a dining table for 6, continue with the fully equipped kitchen on your right , two small closets on your left, and the steps to go up to the bedrooms. At the end of the room there is the living area.

There is an arch in the middle of the room made with the original 300 years old stone. The first 5 steps to go up are made of glass and then changing in two, left and right, more steps made of steel to reach the two separate bedrooms each one with glass floor,  mirrored cupboard, shower with separate wc and sink, arched ceiling  a niche, and queen size bed.  I hope the pictures will help to describe better this special apartment.

Via dei Coronari, famous for its antique stores is a short walk away, as are some of the most glorious painting of Caravaggio in the Church of S.Luigi dei Francesi. Via dei Gracchi: Named after the famous family that lived in the Roma Repubblicana, a century BC, this quiet street, just off the tourists routes, it’s almost like a thoroughfare linking Piazza del Popolo to San Pietro’s Basilica.Via dei Gracchi, flanked as it is on both sides by elegant 19th century palazzi and trees, maintains its aristocratic and cosmopolitan feel.

Shop along Via Ottaviano and Via Cola di Rienzo; eat at any number of small outdoor bistros; take a peaceful stroll or an energetic jog in the not far, Borghese gardens; relive the Romantic era with a visit to the Keats museum at Piazza di Spagna, where the young poet spent his last days gazing out of his window at the Spanish Steps.
